Simone James is a senior attorney at the Arkontaky Law Group. Simone’s practice focuses on special education litigation.  Prior to joining ALG, Simone gained valuable advocacy and litigation experience helping under-served populations in both criminal and civil practices and is a highly experienced litigator handling a full case load of special education due process matters.  Before entering law school, Simone had an interest in becoming a special education teacher but decided to pursue a career in special education law representing families in special education litigation matters, many from underserved populations.  Simone also is active in community outreach presenting to parents on how to navigate the special education system.
